Love, Hope and High Heels
In her first collection of magical poems, Clare Campbell takes us on a sensuous journey from the shadows of Liverpool Cathedral to the hot springs of California, pausing to witness childhood legacies, honour the spiritual landscapes that nourish us and celebrate the deep friendships that give hope along the way.
Reading these poems feels as intimate and risky as curling up in a corner with someone else’s private journal. Whether placing candles in the window for a lost first love or stringing fairy lights across the Mersey for a sexy new possibility, Clare invites us to reclaim all the tiny, sacred and soulful stories that fill our lives.
